Moxibustion

In moxibustion, a medical herb stick is used to warm energy points of the body to enhance circulation and the flow of Qi through the body’s meridians.

The most popular way is indirect, which is close to the acupoint to be warmed.

In China sometimes a small amount of cone-shaped herbs  are used, placed directly on the skin. Alternatively one might use some salts or a piece of ginger on the bottom of the cone.

Although nowadays it is accepted worldwide that moxibustion on ZhiYin can get the baby into proper pre-birth position, we strongly suggest that you should use it under the supervision of your midwife.
