CFS/ME

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), is often understood as a complex condition that involves a combination of various imbalances in the body. TCM views CFS as a pattern of disharmony that affects multiple systems and organs.

In TCM theory, CFS is commonly associated with patterns such as Qi deficiency, Blood deficiency, Yin deficiency, or a combination of these. These patterns are believed to disrupt the proper functioning of organs, leading to fatigue, weakness, and other symptoms associated with CFS.

It is the one condition I would ask the patient to have acupuncture and herbal medicine together.
